Grandparents' Day at St. Paul's School

Beatrix enjoyed a fun morning showing her Omi her Teddy Bear classroom and sitting with her at the chapel service.

Beatrix and Omi

Beatrix was to fill out the top of the paper that asked her what is her favorite thing to do at school. She said "playdoh". Omi was to fill out the bottom of the paper that asked her what was her favorite thing to do when she was three years old.

After thinking briefly, Omi said she loved to swing. Beatrix lit up, and told her that she loves to swing too. And, she does. She has loved to swing since she was very little. She must have gotten on the swing every day at recess last school year, because her teachers ended up having to teach her how to pump her legs, or they would spend the entire time at recess pushing her.

Beatrix chose a book she wanted Omi to read to her.

And, she enjoyed sitting with Omi at the chapel service. We listened to a bible story and sang songs. Beatrix got to go with Omi to the book fair at school afterwards to pick out a few books, but then it was time to go back to class, and she wasn't all that happy about saying bye to her Omi.
